I feel like this is one of the original hives I got when, potentially from my father in-law, when I moved to SC and restarted beekeeping on this side of the country.

The hive is very strong and heavy, so I don't think it needs any additional fondant or sugar bricks.
Super added
Very strong hive also. Added super and queen excluder but did not reverse the boxes. I hope it won’t swarm.
Bees swarmed
Caught the swarm, fairly easily, and gave it to a good friend who's daughter is wanting to get into beekeeping.
My blue bucket, aka tree swarm catcher, hanging on the muscadeen branch with a swarm of bees around it.
